Why

I believe my "why" is something that all students should have the opportunity to  speak a second language; It is so vital to develop this type of environment early in learning.

How

Wave

Through massive digital tools development and a "Blended Learning.", students can provide choice, ownership, voice through authentic learning activities that promote collaboration and connection to the world around them.

Wave

We create a bilingual learner who can be exposed to other cultures and traditions with the drive and skills to be successful  in not only a future career, but also life.

What

Wave

"The difference between what we are doing and what we are capable of doing would solve most of the world's problem."

The Three Vital Behavior

Wave

As I look at my innovation plan and review my " why." I can see the need for making change meaningful and tangible, using the six sources of influence to make a measurable change. All kinds of motivation and ability of personal, social, and structural keys in a  long-lasting change in an organization, it is imperative to provide stakeholders with a way to connect the why, who, what! As Dr. Kotter mentioned in his argument.
"The heart of change" that the first step in any change effort is to create a sense of urgency in making a long-lasting change would be when it over heart and mind. Speaking to the heart would be a key to changing people's behavior, not talking to their mind or brain! While it is essential for stakeholders to understand the process of change, it is more important to feel the necessity for change, known as creating a  "sense of urgency." change would return to happen when fueled with a need to change.
How does this correlate to my " Why"? In our district, elementary schools they don't teach the second Language or even have the choice to choose which Language they are interested in in middle school. I see that introducing a second language would be a great idea if it starts from elementary school. The learner should have the choice to choose the Language they like to learn! We can do that by using the technology tools  and blended learning to make it happen easily and flexible.

In this way, we will have learners with a second language with a choice, ownership, and voice. They will speak to have connections to the world and the other cultures. Also, it will give them confidence and knowledge that they deserve it! It would enhance their career.

six sources
of
influence

Influence is powerful to create change,  it should start from the heart in order to change behavior. As a leader I create a goal for my desired result and identify vital behavior and organizational influence in regards to my speak a second language learning program with integrating the blended learning strategy.

In my innovation plan, my influencers are the blended learning program and the second language, leaders and teachers. What will take this plan to the next level is my strategy to influence my organization in targeting both motivation and ability at the personal, social, and structural level to change vital behavior and achieve my desired goal.

The

Self-

Differentiated

Leader

A leader is someone who influences a group of people. According to Freddy's theory, it is not about skills or trades; it is only about the emotional process and knowing when one ends and begins.. The leader understands the culture they are in and creates opportunities for an entire organization.

Change must take a stand and regularize anxiety (Friedman,2007). We then become-self-differentiated leaders. In short, we can identify our purpose clearly and take responsibility for our emotional being (Friedman, 2010). A self-differentiated person is a leader who clearly defines the "why," the more precise he is when determining his "why," the more effective he becomes in preparing to lead a successful innovation within their organization.

In preparing to launch my innovation plan in my organization. I will need to think about my “why,”more specifically, why I was looking to make this change. I would tell the people what I believe, not what I have. As John Kotter says, for change, Leaders must motivate people by reaching their hearts and heads.

What does sabotage indicate before I can win over the mind of my peers? I will need to start the change to connect with their hearts and stay focused on the right motivation to keep the anxiety away and succeed.

Another critical part of being a leader is the ability to tolerate the anxiety of an organization. As W.Edwards Deming says, "It is not enough to do your best; you must know what to do, and then do your best."

To accomplish this, I would need to learn to leverage six sources of influence. The Influencers were held in high esteem and have robust social stakes. If they could connect to my "why" and my plan, they would then help others to do so; I learned that I would be increasing the likelihood of my plan's success by influencing the influencers.

In addition to that, I am learning how to deal with vital behavior; I need to figure out what behaviors people need to change to achieve my WHY! Also, I need to identify the result by using my natural leader to help promote my plan. All of these would happen for my plan to work, which led to creating my Influencer strategy. This plan laid out how to use personal motivation to improve the likelihood of success and provided me with a way to review my process to justify any problem with implementation.

As any who worked a plan knows, 90% of the plans are easy to say, hard to be done; making a behavioral change is the hardest change, even with a great deal of thought and planning! However, the four disciplines of execution (4DX) refer to stages of executing change inside the challenge of a daily "whirlwind" or a daily job, in the first stage. I used my Influencer strategy to help clarify my WIG.

Next, I created a plan to act upon lead and lag measures, and I know from deep inside it is easy to figure out the first two steps, but it is very challenging to follow step 3 there, creating a compelling scoreboard. This scoreboard is very important. It is a winning or losing game, it should be available to access to teachers daily, and it should be showing our progress toward the WIG and the lead measure; the last step was. a cadence of accountability." which meant that I needed to create a twenty-minute time each week where my team leaders could do three things-Review our progress in the last week. Review and discuss the scoreboard and make new commitments in the coming week to make new commitments toward our WIG. With my 4DX plan ready to improve, I feel prepared to influence change within my organization in the next year.

I want to use the crucial conversation to help each teacher feel confident in implementing blended learning within my plan. I want to model this conversation with teachers who are not entirely on board with the plan. I want to make the undiscussable discussable! I want to be an opinion leader, not a formal leader. I also wish to have crucial conversations to help the learner to choose their second language as an opportunity to learn. I want to use it to help diffuse any tension while moving through the process.

The road to my innovation plan will be complex and winding, and I know there will be bumps in the street, Too. Many challenges, but I feel more confident and persistent in reaching my Goal. This course is a fantastic opportunity to look at my change from every angle, and it gives me the skills to be different leaders within my organization.
